LAZY SKINCARE ROUTINE FOR A FILIPINA ON-THE-GO

We often associate a good skincare routine with the Korean 10-step skincare routine. The Korean routine has received wide popularity here and abroad because it promises skin that glows even without makeup! But be it for lack of effort, time or even funds— if the 10-step routine isn’t your thing but you still want a decent everyday routine, then why not try some of these tricks that all lazy gals (and guys) swear by.

GO SINK-LESS

A great way to save time is to skip rinsing. That doesn't mean you should skip on the cleansing part, though! Using products like micellar water to get rid of makeup and dirt. Another way is to wipe excess products away with a damp cloth. This way you can have clean skin without much effort.

SKIP SOME STEPS

The thing about skincare is that if it doesn't work for you, you probably don't need it. Save your time (and your money) by skipping some steps in your routine. Some of the products you can probably do without are: toner, oils and serums.

GET ENOUGH SLEEP

Catching up on your favorite Netflix shows is tempting but if you really want to be lazy with your skincare routine, you can't be lazy with keeping to a decent sleep cycle. Not only does getting the standard 8 hours of sleep make your skin beautiful it also prevents signs of aging and blemishes. It also allows the skin to heal itself and increases production of collagen which strengthens the skin.

TAKE YOUR VITAMINS

This one is for people who hate the fact that they have to apply multiple serums at a time to get results to show on their skin. Getting enough vitamins either through a healthy diet or supplements will not only save you time, it'll also give you that lit-from-within glow. Vitamins you should definitely be taking on the daily are: vitamins A,C, D and E.

MULTI-TASK WITH PRODUCTS

Make your routine minimalistic by looking for products that perform several other steps in your routine. Whether it's through serums, creams or masks save time and effort by combining your steps.
